I started training with Sean after a friend of mine brought me to my first CrossFit class that he was coaching. Right away, I was hooked. Hooked on the atmosphere, the supportive environment and hooked on the challenging workouts. After years of working out and coming from an environment where I was surrounded by the mentality of working out as much as you can and eating as little as possible, I soon realized that I had a very negative image of myself. Within a couple of months of training with Sean in the CrossFit environment, I started to view myself differently. It wasn’t just about excessive cardio and green juices. It was about training smart, training hard, fueling my body well and viewing myself as an athlete. It didn’t take long until my husband noticed positive changes in my attitude and mindset and I could see my kids viewing me as strong and healthy. Nothing is better than to be a positive role model for my kids and especially for my daughter. I’ve been training with Sean for just over one year. I have a long way to go but as he reminds me regularly, I have come so far! I have walked into many sessions coming off a day of stress, worry and busyness but always leave my workout feeling calm, accomplished and empowered. Sean encourages and motivates and really looks at his coaching role from a mind body standpoint. He helps me overcome my mental obstacles just as much as my physical ones all while making me laugh along the way. To say Sean has helped change my life is an understatement. Aside from being an excellent coach and trainer, I really believe he genuinely cares about the people he comes in contact with and views it as a privilege to be a part of their journeys to be better, stronger and happier people.
Michelle and Sean are more than trainers. They offer a service I would recommend to anyone who wants more than the usual gym thing. They are more like seasoned health and empowerment coaches who meet you where you are at and gently support you to reach your health and life goals. Definitely some of the best help I have ever received.
Michelle and I have been training together for five years. I had no idea what CrossFit was before we started and was hopelessly out of shape, struggling with back, knee and hip issues.
